Starting from the pole, Breuning led most of the race with all the others drafting as best they could, but the clean air in turn 3-4 appeared to help the leader and he held on to the lead despite several yellows. The final of which claimed Don Warren – but he led a lap and that’s what mattered!
Rafael Rodrigues and Bill Smithem joined Breuning on the podium, with Larry Eaglen and Phil Peterson rounding out the top 5.
