It was Marc Breuning that led the field to the green flag from pole, but David Brown took the lead instantly and never looked back. Breuning took himself out of contention on lap 2, crashing in the kink while in the spray of the leader. He did return, but was so far back he eventually called it a race. Almost everyone had their issues on the wet track, but Phil Peterson stood out running consistent while trying to stay within reach. Ian Wilson made it to 3rd, while Bill Smithem overcame early issues to finish 4th and Chris Brown took 5th!
