David Brown put his mean green machine on the pole and led the first part of the race. About mid race, the closely batteling leaders saw a slight touch between Brown and Breuning, sending the latter into the wall. A quick repair saved him from going a lap down and with more cautions, the bunching up of the field help him catch back up. Leader Smithem did everything he could to keep defending champ Cooke behind him, but a brush with the turn 2 wall allowed Cooke t grab the lead, while Breuning passed Brown for 2nd. Breuning was side by side with Cook as the white flag fell, but fell 0.041 short. Brown was 3rd only 0.097 behind the leader, so surely a very closely contested finish!

Pole sitter David Cooke led flag to flag in Laguna Seca ahead of George Sandman. Initially Breuning ran 3rd, but a misunderstanding with a back marker caused an incident and he dropped to 5th. It was Bill Smithem that grabbed the final podium spot ahead of Don Warren, who also had to pit for repairs after a mishap.

David Cooke is our Season 11 Champion. He won an impressive 10 races, the final 8 of them consecutively. Congratulations to him!

David Cooke started from the back of a 17-car field at Watkins Glen, but quickly made his way forward. Polesitter Breuning tried to give him a little run for his money, but he was just too fast and walked away with another great win. Duane Gibbs followed in 3rd position, with Bill Smithem and Mike Erter rounding out the top 5.

It was close all night between the top drivers, Breuning starting from pole alongside Cooke, but Smithem, Sprechini, Wright, Kiefer and others were all in the mix up front. The pitstops under green pulled the field apart a little, leaving Breuning and Cooke to battle for the win. A late race caution meant a one lap shootout for the prizes; With Breuning starting in the lead, Crooke got him out of turn one. Breuning didn’t have enough momentum out of two to get to his inside in three and had to settle for 2nd behind the new Retro Cart League Champ! Chris Augustine was 3rd only a few car lengths back, ahead of Wright and Sprechini.

David Cooke started from pole position and pulled away instantly. On lap 3 he already clocked a lap faster than his pole time and was gone! George Sandman, who qualified on the front row, had Breuning behind him but the #61 driver dropped off little by little and. When Sandman made a mistake coming onto Thunder Alley, he managed to take 2nd, but then handed 2nd back to Sandman when he did the same thing on lap 30. It was Cooke, Sandman, Breuning at the end, with Mike Erter and Don Warren rounding out the top 5 in a 15-car field.
