Title contenders Breuning and Rodrigues both appeared to have technical issues that prevented them from participating in quyalifying, in which Patrick Day took the pole honors.
Breuning worked his way forward and in the 2nd half of the race, a battle for the lead emerged with Day. When Day brushed the wall coming off 2, Breuning overdid the avoiding maneuver, got on the grass and crashed. Only thanks to the fast repair did he manage to remain on the podium, Patrick Day took the win ahead of Randy Dale. Behind Breuning, Chris Brown and Ian Wilson rounded out the top 5.

While Marc Breuning started from pole and led all the way, Bill Smithem saw his strong paced return to the series cut short by an unfortunate incident and later technical issues. Having started from the front row, his race ended on lap 17. Rafael Rodrigues took over the helm behind the leader but couldn’t come close enough to be a factor. Rod Potgieter brought his #77 car home in 3rd place, with Tom DeSelms and Larry Eaglen rounding out the top 5.

Newcomer Justin Richie was a force to be reckoned with all race long and he managed to hold off Marc Breuning for the win by 0.048 of a second, closely followed by Ray Zercut in 3rd place in a two lap “dash for the Cash” after a late yellow.
Championship leader Karl Villeneuve fell victim to an incident, while Rodrigues just missed the podium in 4th.

Starting from the pole, leading all but one lap and taking his #27 to Victory lane, Karl Villeneuve scored maximum points at Road America, finishing ahead of Breuning and Nate DeSelms. Championship contender Rodrigues had a few incidents and failed to score.

Karl Villeneuve started from the pole on the tisty and bumpy Belle Isle track but fell victim to trying too hard on cold tires. Breuning almost did as well and that made Bill Smithem the early leader, until Bruening passed him on lap 3 and remained up front. Rafael Rodrigues worked his way to 2nd, while Villeneuve made it back to 3rd position at the end!
